Personal Measurements

When taking measurements, make sure to hold the tape straight and not too snug to your body.  In order to get accurate measurements, look into a full-length mirror to make sure tape is straight or for best results, have someone else take your measurements.

                                                                                                               

Neck

Measure around your neck, putting your finger between your body and tape.

Shoulder

Measure from neck to cap of shoulder.

Arm

Measure from cap of shoulder to wrist.

Chest

Measure around the fullest part of chest or bust for women.

Neck to waist

Measure from back of neck to waist. This is for shorter style tops, jackets, etc.

Torso (neck to hips)

Measure from back of neck to hips. This is for jacket length.

Waist

Measure around your waist where you wear your pants and skirts.

Hips

Measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Inseam

Measure on the inner part of leg from the rise to ankle or pant hemline.

Out seam

Measure on the outer part of leg from the waist to pant hemline.

Skirt length

Measure from the waist to the skirt hemline.

Rise

Measure the distance from pant’s crotch to the waistband.
